The day for Lawrence Frank to start scratching the LA Clippers’ itch for a trade is December 15th. There are several players residing in LA that need to go, as they are suppressing the team, and others around the NBA that could revive them from an 18-loss recession. However, Jake Fischer reported on ‘The Stein Line’ that the front office intends not to make a trade next Monday aside from Chris Paul.

While the Clippers have given priority to Paul, given his sour ending, they still want his last season to be enjoyed to the fullest. Hence, the only return Frank needs for the 40-year-old veteran guard is cash considerations or a future second-round pick.

As with everyone else, Fischer’s report makes it seem like the Clippers are content to let their ship sink to the bottom of the ocean. They have a handful of blatant moves, but plan to see the current roster through until later in the season.

The Clippers have drifted out of the title picture and are avoiding several no-brainer decisions

Based on Jake Fischer’s report of the LA Clippers pushing their luck and getting a little too cozy, Lawrence Frank is throwing everyone for a loop by just dodging the problems in the roster he built. It is like he is clouding his vision, then has no urgency to defrost his mirrors and fix them.

Though the superstar ship, including Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, has left the dock in Los Angeles, there is still some sense in keeping them and using what is on the trade market to salvage this season.

But what is Frank’s passion and admiration for unnecessarily waiting to trade the role players that are old, and especially those that are out of the rotation?

For example, Brook Lopez should be shopped on December 15th at the start of trade season. His presence is barely in the lineups Tyronn Lue has adjusted; Frank may feel like he could still show up for LA, yet in reality, he has already shown that his older age and slower playstyle do not mix well.

That said, Fischer’s report basically sheds light on the fans’ worst fear of a season gone to waste, and no draft pick. Many others should be joining Chris Paul’s label as a must-go, yet that time will come when it is too late, as Frank has not been convinced to act now while he still can.
