Following a lottery that panned out as beautifully as possible, the LA Clippers have several highly valuable draft assets in the coming years. This didn’t seem to be the case before the trade deadline, given the Paul George trade ruined the foreseeable future, but somehow, someway, Lawrence Frank performed wizardry, and now the Clippers are in a position to rebuild the proper way.

LA still has work to do, as picking the right players that will develop into franchise pieces is more challenging than anything, but for them to even be here is a tremendous sigh of relief for Clipper Nation.

That said, below is the full list of the Clippers' picks for the next six years.

Updated list of draft picks that belong to the LA Clippers

2026: 5th overall(conveyed to the Clippers due to protections from the Indiana Pacers through the Ivica Zubac trade), 36th overall(originally from Memphis), and 52nd overall(the second-round pick that was sent along with Darius Garland).

2027: First-round swap that involves the Oklahoma City Thunder.

2028: Second-round pick(began with the Dallas Mavericks, but was eventually shipped to LA through the Ivica Zubac trade).

2029: First-round pick(swap involving the Philadelphia 76ers and is also protected top-three), and the Indiana Pacers’ first-round pick(unprotected from the Ivica Zubac trade).

2030: First-round pick, and second-round pick(swap that is owed to the Utah Jazz/Charlotte Hornets).

2031: First-round pick, second-round pick

2032: First-round pick, second-round pick

The LA Clippers have a respectable amount of capital to work with

Just by glancing at the picks mentioned above, there are a ton of reasons why fans of the LA Clippers should be optimistic, with a lot to look forward to. The front office could stay where they’re at and scout for building blocks, or move around in the draft for better positioning to land a player they have their eyes set on.

Additionally, Kawhi Leonard is still on the roster. What does this mean? Well, the Clippers could expand their stock room significantly by trading the two-time champion before he enters the final year of his contract.

One thing, though, the front office must not do is dig into their pockets, create a package, and branch out to bring in a big name. They’ve seen firsthand how badly it can turn out, and in the grand scheme of things, should consider themselves really lucky with the current circumstances.
