With the NBA’s schedule release just around the corner, fans of the LA Clippers are ecstatic to purchase their tickets for opening night. They are prepared to watch a river of tears fall amongst the crowd when the announcers introduce Chris Paul back home for the first time this season.

Paul will likely receive a personalized video featuring himself and the legacy he has built as a Clipper, to remind him of the love and support within the fanbase for what he has done, and hopefully, what could be achieved in 2025-26: a championship.

Additionally, fans are ready to watch Bradley Beal shatter the doubt as well as Brook Lopez thrive as the backup center and John Collins, who hundreds of Clippers fans manifested into arriving, blossom as a winning player, starting for a team with a standard that exists through the roof.

Furthermore, each of these aspects pertains to offseason additions. Hence, everyone and their mother is eager to fast-forward time and witness the fit and chemistry of the entire rotation, managed by head coach Tyronn Lue.

However, an aspect of opening night that will be relatively new to Clipper Nation, as something they have not seen in a long time, relates to Kawhi Leonard and his health. This will be a phenomenal sight, and one that fans will cheer on and not take for granted.

LA Clippers’ superstar Kawhi Leonard being fully healthy for the season opener will be a joy to witness

Nearly every summer, Kawhi Leonard has been an LA Clipper, fans are hit with the fortunate news that his surgeries or procedures have been concluded successfully. This meant that Leonard has always been on track to return promptly, as long as he trains at the correct pace and maximizes each of his resources.

Conversely, this summer, the only injury-related update fans have received on Leonard was surprisingly great. According to Lawrence Frank, the two-time champion continued to push himself through intense workouts until the NBA Finals were concluded, in preparation for the next season.

This may not be as exciting as Chris Paul’s return. Still, Leonard being available on day one of training camp, preseason, and most importantly, the regular season, has been overlooked tremendously.

The bigger question is whether Leonard can remain one hundred percent, and although time will tell, it is essential for the fan base to soak in the fact that there will be no wait time required this season to see the team’s top talent suit up.
