Although Kawhi Leonard has done beyond well for himself throughout his NBA career, even if he began with training wheels on the San Antonio Spurs in a slow offensive start, a third championship has to be the only goal on his mind. An MVP or Defensive Player of the Year award next season would be nice, but the value of both does not come close to a playing part in the first title in the LA Clippers’ franchise history.
Furthermore, in the offseason, training means most to players dedicated to winning. This phase begins after the NBA Finals for some and around training camp for others, yet Leonard embraces the mentality Kobe Bryant left behind by gaining a head start over everyone else.
However, August is almost over, and the Clippers’ regular season begins on October 24th, versus the Utah Jazz. This leaves around two months, or approximately eight weeks, for Leonard to ramp up to his full, healthy form.
In doing so, countless superstars are open to training with various competitors in the NBA to not only correspond to each other’s energy, but to learn through the eyes of someone else who may have a unique box of tricks used on both ends of the floor.
Nonetheless, Leonard was recently seen working out with a premier two-way talent on a Western Conference rival, demonstrating that his day-to-day lifestyle revolves around the game and ultimately winning.
Franchise superstar Kawhi Leonard training with Jaden McDaniels is a great sight for fans of the LA Clippers
Footage or posts on social media do not need to be presented for fans of the LA Clippers to know if Kawhi Leonard is on the court or studying off the court, in improving his game during the offseason. This is a given every summer, as the Clippers could have a ring assigned to them, and the two-time champion would still be putting in overtime.
Leonard is not often seen training with just anyone, but the latest update on how his summer is going features post-workout images with Minnesota Timberwolves star Jaden McDaniels. Their work ethics and skillsets are similar, as both are on a vengeance following playoff exits, thus making the practices between Leonard and McDaniels understandable.

That said, Leonard is clearly showing exceptional effort in his time off to win by any means necessary, making his dreams throughout next season on the Clippers crystal clear.
