Usually, when someone is hurt, the team's social media department provides limited content to fans regarding that player. This could be due to recovery away from the team, and because their injury is preventing them from practicing as a whole.

Then, as the player is ramping up for their expected date to return, the social media team is back in the picture, sharing clips of made shots, extra workout sessions, and simple photos of the player smiling in their practice jersey.

Moreover, LA Clippers' veteran scorer Bogdan Bogdanovic tore his hamstring in the 2025 EuroBasket and was forced to go home, despite the urge to represent his country, Serbia. Yet, he physically could not play, and his party took this route as it was safer than taking an elevated risk.

This injury was a complete letdown for Clippers' fans, and to avoid having to see him on the sidelines for possibly multiple months, the idea of trading him was heavily talked about within the team's community. But Lawrence Frank did not take any action, and near the start of the weekend, the social media team posted an update on Bogdanovic, portraying the offseason as saved.

Bogdan Bogdanovic practicing already means he could be ready for opening night

Training camp has not even begun, and many fans assumed Bogdan Bogdanovic would use up several weeks' worth of time to get his hamstring back in check. The severity was higher than usual, as Bogdanovic had previously felt an identical pain level before in the same muscle.

Conversely, the LA Clippers eliminated every worry with a post on social media of the Serbian star wearing the team's gear, with the ball in his hands, at the Kaiser Permanente Training Center.

Within the same series of posts were some of his teammates, such as Kris Dunn, John Collins, Kawhi Leonard, Bradley Beal, and Derrick Jones Jr., rocking similar clothing.

Bogdanovic's practice means he could have been removed from the EuroBasket for precaution. The Clippers implemented this strategy to save him from taking any paid time off. Hence, he reached the States, ensured all was good to go, and flipped the switch to easy-mode with effective but light on-court and off-court work prior to training camp.

By the time the Utah Jazz arrive, Bogdanovic could be fully healthy, and if not, he may not miss many games, proving his early return to be the reason why the Clippers' offseason was saved.
