The LA Clippers start training camp tomorrow, and training camp is going to be pretty crucial for this upcoming season.

The Clippers are going to need to be ready to play without Kawhi Leonard, so every Clipper needs to be locked in on every rep.

There are several storylines heading into camp this week, but the three most important are about as clear as it gets.

No. 3 big storyline going into LA Clippers training camp: Figuring out the big man rotation

The LA Clippers need to figure out what they want to do about the bigs on this team.

Do they want to start the more athletic and proven Serge Ibaka, who can stretch the floor with his three-point shooting and defensive quickness? Or do they want to start the better rebounder in Ivica Zubac?

These two are going to be competing for starting minutes this training camp, but one of them is going to have the leg up when it comes to receiving the most opportunities in these practices. That’s Zubac, because Ibaka’s going to be limited to start here due to his back injury.

The coaching staff will get another good look at Zubac, so we’ll see if he impresses and solidifies that starting spot.

Also, we need to find out what we have in newly-signed Harry Giles. I like the signing, but on a small ball team, we need to figure out how many minutes we should be giving to him, especially because we should have both our top two centers healthy by the time the season starts.
