As the NBA begins to hit the quarter mark of the 2018-19 season, we take a look at the good and bad thus far for the LA Clippers.

As the LA Clippers play their 20th game against Phoenix tonight and their 21st against Sacramento tomorrow, they have officially reached the quarter mark of the 2018-19 season.

Through 19 games, the team has surprised the league (even though no one is talking about us…) and currently sit in first place in the Western Conference with a record of 13-6.

Before we get into the good and the bad of the season thus far, let’s revisit a couple of moments from the season so far:

Yes, that’s only five highlights but honestly, arguments could be made for most of the games. It’s been an intense ride so far. For Ralph Lawler’s sake, we should probably just keep our seat belts fastened.

The Clippers have played an NBA high three overtime games and are undefeated in those, with the most recent coming against Memphis. The team is 5-2 in 10 point games and 2-0 in games decided by 3 points or less.

With the way this team is constructed, expect more of that as the season goes on. The team may be focused on next summer’s free agent class, but with how competitive the roster has been, expect a very serious push towards the playoffs.

Now, let’s get into the good things we have noticed so far in this season.
