Lou’s Line: 42 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 14/14 FT

It took Lou just over a month to record his first 40-point game of the season, which is incredible. Seeing him do it against his former team and local rival, the Los Angeles Lakers, made it even more so.

Lou’s 42 against LA was his first 40-piece of the season, and the third in his career. His 14 free throws made were the second-highest of the season as well. But what makes this game particularly special was the individual impact Williams had on it.

Williams recorded a plus/minus rating of +23 for the game, his second-highest mark on the year. Essentially, the Clippers were 23 points better when he was on the court versus when he was off.

Sweet Lou knocked down half of his triples as well, making four in total. He was particularly useful in the fourth quarter, per usual, scoring 14 of his 42 points. He shot 48.8% from the field in the fourth on the year, his highest among any quarter.

Clearly, Lou shines the brightest at the end of games.
