Former Los Angeles Clippers’ player Glen “Big Baby” Davis has been charged with felony assault and can face up to 7 years in prison if convicted.

Former Los Angeles Clippers’ player Glen “Big Baby” Davis has been charged with felony assault that caused great bodily injury following a heated altercation with an unnamed man., according to TMZ Sports. Davis can face up to 7 years in prison if convicted.

TMZ reported that in April, Davis allegedly shoved a man to the ground that caused, “fractures in his face, fractured ribs and a broken tooth”.

Davis was also arrested in February for drug possession and distribution charges in Maryland.

Just last year, Glen Davis and current Clippers guard Austin Rivers got into it. First, Davis called out Head Coach Doc Rivers for treating Austin differently than the other players in the locker room.

Austin then appeared on the show “Undisputed” to clear the air and state, “That’s just Baby talking out of his lane”.

Davis would fire back and post a profanity filled video claiming that he wasn’t lying and saying some pretty harsh things about Doc and Austin.

It is truly sad to see how Big Baby’s post-NBA career has played out as he was always a fun and emotional character on and off the court.

Hopefully, he can get his life back on track. He was especially well known when he started out his career with the Boston Celtics and winning a championship with them too.

He also played with the Orlando Magic from 2011-2014 before finishing his career with the Clippers in the 2014-2015 season.

In his final year with the Clippers, Davis averaged 4 points per game, 2.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 74 games. He also shot 45.9% from the field, 63.2% from the free-throw line in 12.2 minutes per game.
