Boban Marjanovic’s display wowed us all during last night’s Los Angeles Clippers victory

The Los Angeles Clippers needed a hero last night as they trailed the Denver Nuggest. Boban Marjanović rose to the occasion.
Down eighteen with the offense looking stagnant, Coach Doc Rivers looked down the Los Angeles Clipper’s bench and found the one player that rose above the others: Boban Marjarnović.
Boban Marjanović scored 18 points, grabbed 5 offensive rebounds, 2 steals and a had block that turned the tide for the Clippers against the Denver Nuggets. The Clippers ended up winning the game 122-120.
Marjanović’s impact was astronomical, spotting a +27 rating in only 15 minutes of play. The Nugget’s had no answer for the 7’3 Marjanović’s length and interior skills. Denver resorted to fouling the Serbian center who went 8-9 from the line giving the Clippers an edge.

Marjanović came to the Clippers as a part of the Blake Griffin deal. He saw little to no minutes till the Denver game where he proved his worth. Marjanović found comfort on the floor alongside Serbian teammate Milos Teodosic. Marjanović played alongside Teodosic from the age of 13 saw immediate chemistry and the two helped start the run for the Clippers.
Marjanović is a former Serbian league MVP. He previously played for the Detroit Pistons and the San Antonio Spurs. The Clippers have something special that not a lot of team’s can contain with Marjanović being an interior threat.
The victory helped the Clippers obtain a volatile 8th seed in the highly competitive western conference playoff race. The Clippers next game is against a highly favored Houston Rockets team on the second night on a back to back.

Boban proved tonight he is a very skilled player and if used right can effectively contribute to a very resilient Clipper team.
