The Los Angeles Clippers trade is scary, but opens the future

The Returns
In return for Blake, the Clippers received a first and second round pick, as well as Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, and Boban Marjonavic. All three are very serviceable pieces.
Tobias Harris is a young wing, who’s shooting abilities are good enough to get him into the three-point contest during All-Star weekend. Playing Harris at the small forward position allows Danilo Gallinari to slide over to play power forward. Last season when Denver played Gallo at PF he played the best hoop of his career and destroyed defenses. This means the LA CLIPPERS HAVE WINGS. When was the last time that was said confidently?
Avery Bradley is a defensive stud. Once dubbed “The Steph Stopper”, he brings some grit to the starting lineup. His offensive game has taken a dip this season, but even with that said he’s still shooting 38% from three. If the Clippers can offer him a reasonable extension or contract this summer, he will be playing alongside Patrick Beverly. Go ahead and name a better defensive back court in the NBA. I’ll wait.
Boban. Watch this interview with Boban and try not to love the big lug.
Don’t expect to see too many minutes from this guy, but don’t sleep on him either. Starting in San Antonio, Boban learned some great habits off the bat. But this year in Detroit he’s had some impressive numbers. Shooting an effective field goal percentage of 56% on his career means he’s a threat in the paint. The stats that really stick out are his free throw percentage and his true rebounding. Shooting 80% from the line is amazing considering he’s 7’3″. Yeah, SEVEN FEET THREE INCHES. Grabbing three rebounds in only eight minutes a game isn’t too shabby either.
