The Los Angeles Clippers’ Lou Williams and Tobias Harris will represent the team in LA during All-Star Saturday, the NBA officially revealed.

We tried Clipper nation. Unless another injury happens to a Western Conference All-Star (and we pray it doesn’t), Lou Williams will not get his first All-Star nod.

But, it’s not all bad. Although no one will be representing the Los Angeles Clippers in the actual All-Star game, we do have two representatives participating in State Farm All-Star Saturday Night: Lou Williams and Tobias Harris.

Lou Williams

We recently reported that Lou Williams would be part of the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, but the NBA has made it official by revealing all of the night’s participants for every event. Lou will face off against other guards, while big men on the other side of the bracket compete. It’s still a shame he won’t get to play on Sunday, but it’s great of the NBA to give Lou some sort of recognition after his stellar play this season.

Tobias Harris

Meanwhile, Tobias Harris, who was acquired earlier this week in the blockbuster Blake Griffin deal, will compete in the JBL Three-Point Contest. Fans will be getting their first taste of Harris in his Clippers’ jersey on Saturday as the team faces the Chicago Bulls in an early afternoon game. On the season, Harris is shooting 40% from deep on about 6 attempts per game.

Having two participants is great for the team, especially since the All-Star festivities are in LA at the Staples Center this year.

Make sure to tune in to TNT on Saturday, February 17th at 8:00pm EST. Let’s root for our Clippers’ players!
