The LA Clippers’ Blake Griffin will soon be making his big screen debut in the film “The Female Brain”.

Blake was busy during the offseason. Alongside signing a new contract with the LA Clippers, the forward was filming his big screen debut, “The Female Brain”.

The movie is directed by Whitney Cummings and stars herself, James Marsden, Sofia Vergara, Deon Cole, Lucy Punch, Cecily Strong and Griffin. The film looks to be the typical rom-com that will explore the differences between men and women.

Blake’s scenes in the trailer seem to be the highlight of what appears to be a somewhat predictable movie. (I don’t have a lot of hope for this one) You can check out the trailer below!

This is a big step in Blake’s acting career, as prior to this he had only done online videos, small cameo’s on shows like Broad City and his commercials. The big man is obviously planning for a career after basketball, so it’s good for him to get a slot in a feature film.

He could follow in the footsteps of other recent athletes turned actors such as John Cena, The Rock, Rick Fox and even LeBron James, who appeared in Trainwreck a couple of years ago.

Blake has made other forays into Hollywood through both standup comedy and producing. Griffin is slowly making a name for himself outside of those familiar with his NBA talent. Now, if he can just stay on the court, he could be a permanent star in two aspects of his life.
