LA Clippers’ forward Danilo Gallinari will play tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing every game since November 5th.

The rooster is back! LA Clippers’ forward Danilo Gallinari will suit up again tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has missed every game since November 5th due to a left glute strain.

Gallinari’s return to the Clippers couldn’t be any more needed. The team has been playing with only one of their opening night starters in DeAndre Jordan. Patrick Beverley is out for the season. Blake Griffin is out for up to two months. Milos Teodosic is close to being ready to return, but not there just yet.

With his return to the team, Gallinari will relieve several players. Both Austin Rivers and Lou Williams have had to score in bunches just to keep the Clips competitive in games. Welsey Johnson has been good a the replacement starter for Gallo, but now can go back to the bench and help give that unit a bit more of a punch.

There hasn’t been any detail yet on if Gallinari will have a minute restriction, but expect the team to be a little cautious with him. Gallo does have a history of injuries, so the team won’t want to risk re-aggravating the strain.

Since Gallo is returning tonight, the team will look to get a little revenge and earn a win against the Wolves, after falling to them on Sunday night. The team put forth a valiant effort, but ultimately fell to Minnesota.
