Jerry West accepts position as consultant for the LA Clippers
By Paul Tooke
After meeting with the LA Clippers in late-May, “The Logo” Jerry West will now officially be working with the team as a consultant for the front office.
What a great way for the LA Clippers to start off the summer. Jerry West will be huge in developing the team going forward.
West has been working for the Golden State Warriors as an executive board member since 2011. His most recent and significant accomplishment for the dubs was talking with Kevin Durant prior to him coming to Oakland. He also successfully rallied for the team to draft Klay Thompson. West’s contract with the Warriors ends in July, and after a meeting with the LA Clippers that West described as “intriguing”, he has indeed made the decision to work as a consultant for the good guys.
