With game three of the LA Clippers versus the Utah Jazz series coming on Friday, allegations against Jazz center Jeff Withey have come out.

The LA Clippers head into game three tied with the Utah Jazz at one win apiece. The first two games have been closely contested, despite the Jazz not having Rudy Gobert available. Now, they may be losing another big man: Jeff Withey.

TMZ.com broke the story today that Jeff Withey is being accused by his ex-fiance of domestic violence. Former Playboy Playmate, Kennedy Summers, apparently has filed a report with the Manhattan Beach, CA police stating that Withey abused her several times throughout their time together.

"Law enforcement sources tell [TMZ] cops were called to an incident involving Withey and Summers last year, but no report was made at the time and nobody was arrested."

Summers’ representatives claim that she is just filing the charges now due to the playoff series against the LA Clippers. She feels unsafe with Withey in the area.

This unfortunate situation could be a curse for Utah and a blessing for LA. With Rudy Gobert officially ruled out of the game Friday and no timetable for his return, Utah could be very short handed in the frontcourt. Withey is still eligible to play on Friday, but depending on how the situation pans out, the Jazz could be faced with a difficult decision.
