5. Bob McAdoo

Like some other players on this list, McAdoo didn't play for the LA Clippers. He played for the Buffalo Braves, the original iteration of this franchise. By basic counting stats, he may be the most impressive player in its history. 

In 1974-75, McAdoo averaged 34.5 points, 14.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game. That was good for a 25.8 PER. To be clear, that's a figure that's been matched by MVPs in NBA history. 

"Big" Bob McAdoo was in those conversations. He was an old-school big man who dominated the interior. He's undeniably one of the best players in LA Clippers history. 

Were his numbers inflated by the rapid pace of his era? Sure - but that applies to everyone. Nobody should be taking anything away from McAdoo. He's one of the NBA's all-time great big men.
