8. Terry Cummings
Throughout the next couple of slides, we'll give you a bit of a history lesson. Cummings may not be familiar to younger readers. They should know that he's one of the better players in LA Clippers history.
Technically speaking, that is. After all, Cummings didn't play for the LA Clippers - he played for the San Diego Clippers. Cummings was drafted by San Diego back in 1982.
He didn't waste any time in making an impact on the organization. Cummings averaged 23.7 points and 10.6 rebounds per game in his rookie campaign (with a PER of 22.7) and was named the league's Rookie of the Year. He had comparable numbers as a sophomore as well.
The Clippers traded him to the Milwaukee Bucks for star Marques Johnson anyway. His time with the Clippers was short-lived, but make no mistake: he belongs on this list.
