We now know that Russell Westbrook will almost certainly begin next NBA season with a team other than the LA Clippers. After plenty of rumors and speculation that he would be heading elsewhere, insider information revealed that Russ and the team are officially planning to part ways this offseason. Barring some unforeseen circumstance, Westbrook's days in Los Angeles are over.

Apparently, the former MVP is not taking his current situation very well. After largely playing poorly this past season following a move to the bench due to James Harden's arrival, Westbrook has been active on social media, and not in a way that will be pleasing to Clippers fans.

The first questionable action Russ made was liking a post from NBA on ESPN on Instagram that featured a post from Kendrick Perkins. "If I'm the Clippers I would consider ... trading Kawhi Leonard right now," read the quote from Perkins.

Westbrook has liked some questionable Instagram posts

This already likely raises some type of red flag from Clippers fans. Westbrook is no longer going to be part of this team, so why would he be concerned with their future actions? Beyond that, why would he be appearing to endorse a post that advocates trading LA's best player, which is clearly not a good move?

After this, fans also noticed Russ liked a post from Kendrick Perkins (that is now deleted) where he shared a segment on ESPN that he appeared on recently. In the post, Kendrick says, "We have been letting [Kawhi Leonard] off the hook for too long," referring to his injury troubles. The caption to the post, presumably written by Perkins, reads, "Kawhi has been getting away with BS for too long!!"

All this indicates some type of disdain on Westbrook's part toward his soon-to-be former team. It seems bizarre that he would have true distaste for Kawhi, given the two have always seemed to have a benevolent relationship. But regardless of Russ' true intentions, this probably makes Clippers fans more eager for the day the team trades or waives him.
