Over the course of his four seasons with the LA Clippers, Patrick Beverley gave fans plenty to cheer about. He joined the Clippers at an interesting time in the team's history, given that he witnessed the end of the "Lob City" era, as well as the start of the "213" Kawhi Leonard and Paul George era.

One thing you can say about Pat Bev is that he has always been himself. He never changed his personality and never toned down his unique, fiery personality. He was always authentically himself, and you either loved him for it or hated him for it, depending on if he played for your favorite team.

This offseason, Beverley was set to make his choice of where he would play next season, and now we finally know the verdict. On Tuesday morning, Pat Bev announced via his podcast that he would take a big overseas offer to play with Hapoel Tel Aviv BC in Israel.

Patrick Beverley will take his talents to Israel

There had been rumblings in recent days that Beverley was either going to sign with an NBA team for the minimum or accept a big offer to play overseas. It appears Israel is where he truly desires to be for next season. "“They gave me everything I asked for," said Pat. "I couldn’t refuse."

The contract details are yet to be officially released, but the offer Beverley is agreeing to had to have been substantially bigger than whatever NBA offers he was seeing. Certainly plenty of Clippers fans will be sorry to see him leave the country and play elsewhere.

There is always the chance Pat Bev could return to the United States after next season, but at 36 years old, his playing days are certainly closer to the end than they are to the beginning. Fans of the Clippers that still appreciate Beverley can always watch from a distance as he begins a new chapter of his career.
