As the only rookie on the LA Clippers' full-time roster this season, Kobe Brown has a unique opportunity in front of him. While he has played just 8.5 minutes per game and only 10 contests overall this season, he was recently made a part of the regular rotation by Head Coach Tyronn Lue.

With veteran P.J. Tucker struggling to be a positive for the Clippers lately, many fans were thrilled to see Brown get a chance to prove himself with NBA minutes so early on. He will have the opportunity to earn his way into an even larger role with the team going forward.

After LA's win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, Kobe Brown revealed that he spoke to Draymond Green after the game clock hit all zeros. The former Defensive Player of the Year and four-time NBA champion had some valuable advice for the young rookie.

While Green is frequently seen being abrasive and unfriendly on the court, Brown revealed the kind words he received from the veteran. "Just telling me to keep shooting, keep shooting," said Brown. "Because if you stop then it's hard to start again. Don't get down on missing shots, because he did the same thing."

A lot of what Green shared with the rookie were probably things Brown already knew, but it is always helpful to hear those words from someone who has been doing this for as long as Draymond has.

Brown acknowledged how he admires Green's game as well. "The way he helps get his teammates open, and he's knocking down the three-ball right now," he said. With any luck, Kobe Brown can have a Draymond-like effect on the Clippers' offense this season.
