9 People who turned their backs on the LA Clippers
Donald Sterling
Sterling didn’t just turn his back on the Clippers. He turned his back on human decency. Everybody should be celebrating the fact that he’s not associated with this team anymore.
His time as the team’s owner was bad enough. It was often speculated that Sterling was more concerned with turning a profit than he was with building a winner. That’s unfortunate.
Still, Sterling’s racist tirade was truly despicable. When his vitriol was exposed, his character was exposed alongside it. We began to hear whispers that Sterling was a crooked landlord, among other allegations.
Let’s forget about him. Sterling is out. Steve Ballmer is in, and he’s one of the most likeable owners in the NBA. Things are looking up for the Clippers:
Don't turn your back on them now.
