Neil Olshey
Baylor’s tenure with the Clippers was marred by unfortunate decisions. On the other hand, Olshey’s run as the team's general manager will be remembered for one huge mistake.
Remember how the Clippers signed Baron Davis? In 2011, they’d trade him to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Baron Davis and an unprotected first-round pick.
Did Olshey have any semblance of an idea of the value of an unprotected first? Williams was barely an upgrade over Davis. Why send such a valuable asset to the Cavs?
What did the Cavs do with that asset? Oh, nothing substantial. They just drafted Kyrie Irving with it. This deal was an absolute blunder - but in all likelihood, the next man on this list didn’t care.
