It is an exciting time to be an LA Clippers fan. With Intuit Dome now open, residents of Inglewood and the greater Los Angeles area can make plans to attend events at the arena or simply stop by to visit the new LA "Flagship" store located onsite. The new era of Clippers fandom is officially here.
Now, with the 2024-25 season schedule out for every NBA team, Clippers fans can start to plan which games they want to attend. For local fans, there will be plenty of coming and going from Inglewood for home contests, and perhaps some travel to see the team at various road venues as well.
When looking at the Clippers' schedule for this coming season, there are several notable details that jump off the page. The first of which being the dates every die-hard fan was waiting for: the rematches with Paul George.
Clippers games against Paul George/76ers
With George and the Philadelphia 76ers playing in the Eastern Conference, they will of course only get one home and one away game with the Clippers next season. The Sixers will travel to Intuit Dome on Wednesday, November 6 in what is sure to be a crazy environment.
Paul George will make his first appearance in Los Angeles as a visitor since leaving the Clippers in the first week of November, and fans will certainly give him a memorable trip back to the city. After that, the Clippers will travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers on Sunday, November 24.
Multiple long homestands
The Clippers will enjoy two homestands spanning at least five games during the 2024-25 season. One will occur at the very beginning of the regular season in October, and one will take place just before the playoffs begin in April.
Between Wednesday, October 30 and Wednesday, November 6, the Clippers will play host to Portland, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, San Antonio and Philadelphia. Then, they will repeat this trend between Wednesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 9 when they host New Orleans, Dallas twice, San Antonio and Houston.
Seven-game road trip
Every NBA team probably has at least one stretch of road games that fans will look at and let out an audible groan. For the Clippers, that will likely be their seven-game road trip that spans between the end of February and beginning of March.
LA will travel East before eventually coming back West. They begin the road trip in Milwaukee, then head to Indiana, Detroit, Chicago, and then make their return trip to Crypto.com Arena for back-to-back contests with the Lakers. The road trip is capped off with a March 4 game in Phoenix. Putting up a strong performance over this span will certainly be crucial for the Clippers' playoff chances.
