Following how badly Bogdan Bogdanović destroyed the Miami Heat on March 12th, with 30 points and 10 rebounds in 39 minutes, the LA Clippers came to a full realization that they won their deadline trade with the Atlanta Hawks significantly. They initially thought it was a loss, as Bogdanović was taking his time to get acclimated, but once he did, the Serbian sniper outperformed Terance Mann on both sides of the ball.

Furthermore, Bogdanović turned into one of the Clippers' top bench contributors. He became so crucial to the game plan that, at one point, a trend emerged between him scoring double figures and the team winning, showing a positive correlation.

Bogdanović also had an exceptional bond with James Harden and Ivica Zubac, as both made sure he felt at home in Inglewood, California. He was enjoying his time after being traded, and it was clear with his performances, body language, and responses in post-game press conferences.

On the flip side, Mann was struggling in Atlanta. This was a shocker to Clipper fans, as he was dominating days after the massive trade, but when head coach Quin Snyder noticed why the Clippers elected to trade him, it was evident that the former second-round pick could be dealt again in the offseason.

That said, to no one's surprise, Mann was recently shipped to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team deal, capitalizing on the greatness Lawrence Frank put on display at the 2025 trade deadline.

The Atlanta Hawks sending Terance Mann to the Brooklyn Nets speaks volumes on how much the LA Clippers fleeced them

When Terance Mann put up a combined seven points, three rebounds, and six personal fouls in both of the Atlanta Hawks' play-in games, shooting 2-8, fans of the Peachtree City wanted him gone. They were brought joy when they noticed Bogdan Bogdanović, a fan favorite, thriving with the LA Clippers, but simultaneously, they accepted the fact that they had lost the trade.

Moreover, Mann was recently involved in a three-team deal with the Hawks, Boston Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets. He and Atlanta's 22nd pick were traded to Brooklyn, while the Celtics received Georges Niang and a future second-round pick. Meanwhile, Kristaps Porziņģis and a second-round pick were sent to the Hawks.

Conversely, Bogdanović, as a Clipper in the regular season, averaged 11.4 points, 3.2 assists, and 3.1 rebounds, shooting 47.4% from the field and 42.7% from a distance.

His value skyrocketed by the time the season ended, and although he could be traded this summer, the Clippers will receive a nice return, especially since his contract expires (with a team option next summer).
