After the LA Clippers’ trade rumors faded, Sam Amick of The Athletic reported that James Harden will not play for the Philadelphia 76ers in the upcoming season. This is due to the fact that he has been focused on his trade request since the summer began.

Furthermore, fans may wonder if Harden will sit out for the 76ers this season and join his preferred destination next summer. To a certain extent, there is a possibility this could happen. Additionally, this strategy would make it much easier for Harden to acquire the long-term deal he has requested.
Moreover, earlier this morning, Harden shared his thoughts on the 76ers’ president, Daryl Morey. Based on what the former MVP had to say, the LA Clippers should immediately stop the trade hunt, especially if that means letting go of high-quality role players.

The LA Clippers should put an end to the James Harden trade discussions
The reason the LA Clippers should hold back on James Harden is his history and how he gets his way, no matter what. Though Harden’s time in Houston, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia were all different situations, they also had similarities. In the end, Harden got exactly what he wanted.
In regards to the Clippers, there is a chance Harden will join LA and later asks out once something does not go his way. The front office should avoid this type of player as it could cause many locker room issues.
In Harden’s defense, there may be some context on Daryl Morey the NBA world may not know about. But as of right now, the Clippers’ front office must think twice before going through with any trade proposal.
