LA Clippers: 3 areas for Paul George to improve in this year

No. 2 area for Paul George to improve for the LA Clippers this year: Shooting efficiency
Paul George is absolutely an efficient scorer in this league. He can do so much, and the eye test shows that he’s always looking for the best looks.
However, George’s three-point shooting wasn’t what we’re used to when Leonard went down in the postseason last year. He shot 30.4% in the postseason without Leonard last year, compared to 41.1% in the regular season.
When re-watching his three-point misses from the playoffs when Leonard wasn’t out there, he was smothered on almost every one.
He wasn’t getting open looks. It’s not completely that he was underperforming, but that he was under a lot of pressure and attention from the opposing defenses.
George is a great shooter, but if we want to welcome Kawhi back in March or so to a top-four seeded team, George will have to be better shooting the three ball under this type of pressure.
It’s going to be incredibly difficult, because defenses are going to throw everything at George. It is doable, however, as George has already come a long way in his career.
