No. 2 player that will make or break 2021-2022 for the LA Clippers: Paul George

LA Clippers fans believe in Paul George, and well, this is his best chance to prove himself that he’s ever had.

George is bound to have an exceptional year. He already has experience being the number one of this team in the second half of the postseason, and has been successful as a number one on other teams.

People forget that PG almost beat LeBron James as a very young player in this league, when he was asked to be the number one option in Indiana.

George stepped up in all areas of his game last year in the playoffs when Kawhi Leonard went down, other than his three-point shooting. While I do think about that three-point shooting, I also know that he was getting smothered from that range every game.

Even those few failures that George had in the postseason last year will only make him stronger for next year.

If he rises up to the occasion, the Clippers can go as far as they want. If he struggles, the Clips may be looking towards 2022-2023.
