The LA Clippers are going to all be getting together to prepare for the season in training camp on Tuesday.
Training camp is going to be huge for this team heading into this season, due to us being in a crucial Year 2 under our head coach Ty Lue.
The Clippers made so much progress this past year under him, but will be challenged coming into this season. Kawhi Leonard will not be playing for likely a significant portion of this upcoming season, and the Clips are going to need to learn how to gel together without him.
Training camp and preseason is going to be as important as ever for the LA Clippers this year.
After training camp, preseason will start for the LA Clippers on October 4th.
We’ve got four preseason games; all against Western Conference opponents.
The first game is vs. the Denver Nuggets, the second game (October 6th) is against the Sacramento Kings, the third (October 8th) is at the Dallas Mavericks, and the last game (October 11th) is against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The biggest thing for training camp and the preseason needs to be developing chemistry. It’s something that the Clippers didn’t have a ton of opportunity to do during the season last year due to the amount of injuries they constantly had throughout the year.
The Clippers have to be feeling good about finally getting a more normal offseason to develop how they need to. There’s some new faces that are going to be relied on this season.
It all starts with Clip Gang getting back together for training camp.
