The LA Clippers are the best shooting team in basketball.

They made history last year, and are going to continue to be the top shooting team in the game.

There is an important piece that’s missing, however, as our franchise player in Kawhi Leonard is not going to be healthy when we start the season. He was our guy to take the last shot when it mattered most, and we’ll have to mange without our buzzer beater.

There still are a few players that are capable of hitting these shots, however, and can keep the team afloat in Leonard’s absence.

No. 3 player on LA Clippers that should take buzzer-beater shots in 2021-22: Marcus Morris Sr.

Marcus Morris Sr. has been lights out when it comes to shooting for the LA Clippers in his short time here. He got off to a slow start after he got traded here, but was amazing in his first full season with the team.

He shot 47.3% from the field, and 47.3% from deep as well. That 47.3% was the second-best in all of basketball this past year. He took a big jump, as he’s never even shot close to that three-point percentage before.

In Year 2 under Ty Lue, he should be even better. As one of the older players on the team, Morris has been in this league for 10 years now.

Morris has a lot of experience shooting a lot of jumpers, and has been in this league a while. He’s played in tons of playoff games and has lots of experience playing under pressure. He’s a guy the Clippers can trust in a high-pressure moment.
