No. 1 best shooter on the LA Clippers roster: Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard almost shot 50/40/90 this season for the LA Clippers. Enough said.

He’s no doubt the best shooter on the Clippers. The only player in this league who might have a better mid-range game than Kawhi is legendary Clipper Chris Paul.

His 51.2% shooting percentage this past year was the best he’s ever had. 51.2% for a wing is literally ridiculous.

It didn’t stop in the playoffs, when Kawhi shot an unbelievable 57.3%. Part of the reason he’s the best player in the Western Conference is due to this shot.

When Leonard is on, he’s quite literally unstoppable. In Games 2 through 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals, he shot 71.7% and 60% from three. He took 53 shots and 15 threes.

He went 28 of 40 and nailed 6 of 12 threes in Games 6 and 7. Kawhi keeps getting a high-volume workload, and continues to prove that he deserves it.

Nobody is more trusted than Leonard to be given this amount of opportunities, and few players in the entire league come close to who Leonard is as a shooter.

The production speaks for itself. When Leonard gets back from injury, this team is going to immediately be in the conversation for the NBA Title.
