The LA Clippers are looking to get back to the big stage and put themselves in position to win the Western Conference.

Last year, the only team that was better than them in the Western Conference was the Western Conference Champion Phoenix Suns, but this year there is going to be an even higher level of competition.

Teams are hungry to try to prove that the Clippers 2020-2021 season was a fluke, and the Clippers better be ready to step up to the challenges they’ll face. The top three threats are clear, and are going to be coming for our team. We need to come out strong, that way we come out on top.

The No. 3 biggest Western Conference threat for the LA Clippers: The Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz faced off in a very competitive Western Conference Semifinals series with the LA Clippers last year, and you’ve got to be kidding yourself if you think they don’t have revenge on their minds.

Without Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers embarrassed the Jazz in a series that Utah came into with the number one seed.

They’ll be competing for that number one seed again, and are healthy coming into the 2021-2022 season, which the Clippers are obviously not.

The Clippers handled them last year without a healthy roster, but Donovan Mitchell is only getting better, and the Jazz now have a full series of tape to look at and try to adjust from. Don’t expect the Clips to toy with Rudy Gobert again.

Quin Snyder is a good coach, and is going to learn from his mistakes in the West Semis last year. I still have the Clips over the Jazz next year, but they’re going to be a tough out.
