The LA Clippers quietly have one of the best rosters in the Western Conference heading into next year.

It has the potential to be even better than it is on paper, however, and is absolutely a championship-caliber roster if a few bounce-back candidates can indeed bounce back.

There are a couple of new faces that the team brought in that are banking on major improvements this year, and even one who was on the team last year but had a 2020-2021 season compromised by injury.

No. 3 LA Clippers player in need of a career resurgence: Justise Winslow

Justise Winslow comes to the LA Clippers after two lost seasons after a career year in his 2018-2019 campaign.

Many think of Winslow as a chronically injured player who hasn’t lived up to the hype of being a top ten player.

The reality, however, is that Winslow was very good during the last season he was healthy. In 2018-19, he shot 37.5% from deep and put up 12.6 points per game. He had 5.4 rebounds per game and 4.3 assists per contest to go along with it. Adding in over a steal per game, he was a solid starter in this league.

Now that he’s with the Clippers and Ty Lue, who has lots of experience coaching long wings in smaller lineups like this, he’ll have a brand new shot.

If he gets it done, it’ll help lessen the blow of losing Kawhi Leonard. If not, the Clippers may not be as deep in that position as we think they are.
