No. 1 LA Clippers player primed for a breakout season: Reggie Jackson
Reggie Jackson certainly did already break out for the LA Clippers in the postseason last year; there’s no arguments there. He was so dominant that other teams had the opportunity to poach him with a massive offseason payday.
He hasn’t really had a breakout regular season before in his career, however. No worries, though, as he will this year.
Jackson got so much more experience running the point last postseason. It looked like Detroit again with how much Jackson was handling the ball. He’s going to be running the point almost all the time again this year, due to the Clips unloading multiple other point guards in Patrick Beverley and Rajon Rondo this offseason.
Jackson will be able to build off of all the momentum he gained as a point guard last postseason into this year.
Jackson is already a good scorer, as he can shoot, slash, and drive all very well. He’ll be able to continue to refine himself as a passer at the one, and many don’t realize how many good scorers the Clippers have to help replace the void that Kawhi’s injury leaves.
The whole team is ready to surprise people this season, and these three guys are going to help lead the charge.
