LA Clippers: 3 goals for Reggie Jackson to become an All-Star next year
By Evan Desai
Reggie Jackson was outstanding last postseason, and is looking to have a huge campaign with the team that he credited to “saving” him.
Jackson has been a quality player in this league for a while now, and really proved himself and erased all doubt this past postseason.
Jackson looked outstanding, but has never been to an All-Star Game before. He’ll be starting for the Clippers this year, and will absolutely have the chance to accomplish that feat this season.
No. 3 goal for Reggie Jackson to become an All-Star for the LA Clippers next year: Pick up where he left off
Reggie Jackson was clutch in the playoffs for the LA Clippers. He showed up whenever he was needed most.
He had the numbers to go along with it too. He averaged 17.8 points per game in the postseason, shot 48.4% from the field, and shot 40.8% from three.
If he can pick up where he left off with those numbers, he could enter All-Star conversation. It’s because Jackson is going to improve in Year 2 under Ty Lue. He was just starting to get to a really high level in the postseason.
Oftentimes Jackson was the best player on the court, and it’s only going to get better as he continues to build that confidence. If he can improve his assist numbers, which I think he will because he’s going to be handling the ball a high majority of the time next year, he’ll absolutely put himself to be in the race for the All-Star Game.
