The LA Clippers shocked the league when they took down the number one seed Utah Jazz without Kawhi Leonard in the Western Conference Semifinals this past year.

The Clippers look to continue shocking the league this season without Leonard in the picture again, and have a huge opportunity to prove many people wrong about how their season will go.

Three players in particular are going to surprise in a major way this season for the team. These three are going to have major impacts on the Clips’ season, and will drive them to contend for a title again.

No. 3 LA Clippers player who will shock the league next season: Terance Mann

Terance Mann was a major factor for the LA Clippers in their takedown of the Jazz in that second round. To close them out in Game 6, Mann put up 39 points on 15 of 21 shooting (7 of 10 from deep).

As soon as Kawhi went down in the series, he put up 52 points and four steals in the two games against the Jazz.

He flashed his potential, even without our franchise player. Stephen A. Smith even went as far as saying that we don’t even need Leonard anymore because of Mann. That’s obviously not true, but the point is; Mann looked like a star in the opportunity.

He’ll do that again many more times this year. He’s only getting older and more experienced, and Ty Lue already knows how to use him without Kawhi in the lineup.
