The LA Clippers are naturally going to have a tough schedule due to the conference and division that they’re in.

I absolutely think they can handle it due to how good this team proved themselves to be in the postseason last year. They are going to have some tough competition within their division specifically, setting up for some classic games.

The Clippers’ current three biggest rivals are going to give them a run for their money this season, and it’s up to LA to handle their business.

No. 3 biggest rival for the LA Clippers in 2021-22: Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are going to be a very interesting matchup when they play the LA Clippers this upcoming season.

The Clippers are going to play them four times here in the 2021-22 season, including the first game of the season up in the bay.

These two teams may finish the season as the two best three-point shooting teams in basketball, but will both likely be without one of their best shooters in that first matchup. Kawhi Leonard and Klay Thompson likely won’t be there to start.

That first contest is going to be about who can adjust best without their star wing. So will our contest against them on November 28th, as both teams will likely be without those two in that game as well.

We handled our injuries much better than the Warriors did last year, as the Warriors didn’t even make the playoffs. Thompson should be back by the second and third times we play them (February 14th and March 8th). I’m not sure if Leonard will be, so those last two games will be the real test for this chapter of the battle for California.
