1 advantage the LA Clippers have over the Golden State Warriors: Ball security

The LA Clippers took care of the ball much better than the Dubs did last year.

The Warriors were top five in the league for most turnovers with 15 per game this past season. The Clippers were tied for seventh in fewest turnovers in the NBA with 13.2.

I do think that it’ll get better for the Warriors with Klay Thompson coming back, however I also think it’ll get better for the Clippers.

It was tough for the Clippers to gain full chemistry last year with all of the injuries they had throughout the season. Now that the team will be getting healthier, the ball movement will be even better.

Eventually, Kawhi Leonard will be coming back and the team will have even more cohesion. The Warriors handle the ball well, but they were turnover-prone last year.

The Clippers, despite having a first-year head coach and being decimated by injuries all season, were able to protect the ball very well. Expect it to continue next season. The Clippers should be the better team over Golden State for the third straight year.
