No. 1 way to fill out the remainder of the LA Clippers roster: Use our trade pieces

The LA Clippers still have a few role players on this team who could generate some trade value, even with them already dealing Patrick Beverley and Rajon Rondo.

Terance Mann, Ivica Zubac, and Marcus Morris Sr. are all guys who we could get returns for.

Of course, we shouldn’t just trade these guys just to trade them. Each of them are good players.

They should still take all calls on them, though, in hopes that maybe someone could overcompensate.

Mann is a very good and bright young player, but some, such as Stephen A. Smith, have overrated him to the point where people claim we don’t need Kawhi Leonard anymore. If people really overvalue Mann this much, perhaps it would be a good idea to deal him for a couple of impact players.

Many teams also could use a true center like Zubac. They don’t exist much these days, and so that drives his value up. And every team could use a Morris, who has a filthy three-point stroke, and can pick up anybody on the defensive end.

A guy like Morris could bring back a really nice return, and the team could package more than one of these guys for a blockbuster that could improve this team very much.

Again, it’s not a good idea just to trade players because they have value. I like each one of these players and would love to see them continue to succeed on our team. If the right caller comes along, though, they should negotiate.

This roster already looks strong. If they can improve it further in one of these three ways, it will be truly lethal.
