No. 2 bold prediction for Paul George in the 2021-22 season: He’ll score 30+ points per game for the first time

As good of a scorer as Paul George has been throughout his career, he has never ended up dropping 30 per game before.

With Kawhi Leonard likely out for a significant portion of the season, George will be the first option offensively for the team.

That’s going to mean that we’ll see an uptick in scoring from PG13. Well, with no notice at all, PG scored 29.6 points per game in the postseason this year when Kawhi was out. Therefore, imagine what he can do against regular season competition, with a whole offseason to prepare without Leonard this time.

He’s going for 30+, and he’s going to get it. He’s scored 28 per game before, and flashed that career-high type of scoring performance at the end of the playoffs last year.

He’s going to keep getting better and more comfortable without Kawhi. Don’t be surprised if George goes for 30 or more per game this year.
