When it comes to the Justise Winslow signing for the LA Clippers, the first and most important thing they need is for him to stay healthy.

He’s played just 37 games in the last two years. Of course, however, a little bit of luck is always involved in just how healthy NBA players can be. There are a few things Winslow can control, however.

If Winslow wants to be successful on the Clippers, he’ll need to master those few things. Some of them are areas he can begin working on now. All in all, the Clips need Winslow to play to his potential, and there are three things he’ll be tasked with in his new tenure with LA.

No. 3 instant assignment for Justise Winslow on the LA Clippers: Learn from those higher on the depth chart

Justise Winslow will of course not be starting for the LA Clippers. That’s even when considering that Kawhi Leonard will be out for the start of the year.

There’s tons to learn from the wings that are ahead of him, however. The Clippers credited Leonard to being a leader in the playoff games he missed, and Winslow will have opportunities to learn from the best wing in the NBA.

Paul George is a star in this league as well, and he’ll have the chance to take in advice from PG both on the court during games, as well as in practice.

Winslow is very talented. He hasn’t necessarily lived up to the hype of being a top ten overall pick, however, and between the two stars on this team along with other quality veteran wings such as Nicolas Batum and Marcus Morris (when he plays the three), Winslow has the chance to pick up on a lot of insight that can improve his game.
