With Day One of NBA Free Agency in the books, the LA Clippers missed out on some big-name free agents.

That being said, they locked up Nicolas Batum, and kept their $5.9 million taxpayer MLE. They have a real shot to show up to the season with an elite roster again this year.

They saved some money there, and still have the chance to sign a top free agent interested in competing for a championship this year. Many big names have already been signed away, but there are a few free agents, and a couple of huge ones, that are still worth going after for the Clips.

No. 3 free agent still available worth going after for the LA Clippers: Danny Green

Danny Green would have great chemistry with Kawhi Leonard on the LA Clippers.

He already has, as he’s won multiple championships with Leonard, on multiple different teams.

The three-time NBA Champion can help out on the wing with Kawhi potentially out for a long period of time.

He’s still a tremendous shooter, and shot over 40% from deep this year. He’s shot over 40% over the course of his career. Also, he’s underrated on defense.

Green has averaged a steal per game in his NBA career, and had 1.3 this season. He’s worth negotiating with.
