It seems like every LA Clippers fan wants Reggie Jackson to remain a Clipper for years to come.

The issue is, many analysts aren’t sure they’ll be able to afford it.

This is the same Jackson who has received a 5-year, $80 million contract earlier in his career. Now, imagine how expensive it will be to pay him with him being able to add his 2021 playoff campaign to his resume.

Regardless, the Clippers need to do all they can to re-sign him, and it’s for three reasons in particular.

No. 3 reason the LA Clippers should re-sign Reggie Jackson: The chemistry he’s built

When Reggie Jackson cried while thanking the LA Clippers for “saving” him, it was clear how much passion he has for this franchise.

The Clippers certainly looked like they had a lot of passion with his abilities as a guard, too. He carried the team on his back during many moments of the postseason this year.

The chemistry between the two sides is definitely there. Next year needs to be all about chemistry. It’s the number one thing that affected us this year.

So many players were getting injured all the time, and we didn’t get many opportunities to grow with our best players all together.

When a team has a piece like that who was key for the Clippers during that adversity, he needs to be brought back. Kawhi Leonard missed 20 regular season games this year, Paul George missed 18, Patrick Beverley missed 35, Marcus Morris Sr. missed 15, and Serge Ibaka missed 31. Jackson missed a total of five.

His chemistry can be counted on. The Clippers better do whatever they can to bring him back.
