No. 3 most valuable player on today’s LA Clippers roster: Reggie Jackson

Reggie Jackson credited the LA Clippers for ‘saving’ him this year, but let’s be real.

Jackson saved the Clippers too.

Jackson was totally sensational in the postseason this year, and even earned the nickname ‘Mr. June’ for his dominant efforts.

He went from scoring 10.7 points per game in the regular season to 17.8 points per game in the postseason. He shot 45% in the regular season, but 48.4% in the playoffs. He averaged more assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks too.

He always seemed to come in clutch, and was arguably the most valuable Clipper of the postseason despite not even starting every game.

The fact that Jackson is deservedly the number three most valuable Clipper shows that he needs to be brought back this offseason.

That being said, his price tag is going to be crazy expensive this summer. The Clips would love to run it back with most everyone, and Jackson would surely be a huge part of that.

I think he’ll want to be back, but for a team already over the cap, it could be a tough task.
