No. 3 LA Clippers player with most potential to grow next season: Terance Mann
Terance Mann introduced himself to the world as a high-impact player for the LA Clippers this postseason. Clipper fans already knew how good he was, but it was amazing for Mann to show the rest of the league what he’s capable of.
Mann stepped up big-time with Kawhi Leonard out, even scoring 39 points in a Game 6 closeout victory vs. the Utah Jazz where he shot 15 of 21 from the field, and nailed 7 of 10 three-pointers.
If that doesn’t scream how much talent Mann has, I don’t know what does. He’s only a second-year player and he has a playoff performance like that on his resume.
Stephen A. Smith even thinks that his potential is so high that the Clippers don’t even need to bring Leonard back. Now, that’s just straight up wrong and ridiculous, but the point is, Mann is thought of very highly around the basketball community. His potential and ceiling is crazy high, and he’s absolutely going to be taking another step further next year.
I can’t wait to see what Ty Lue does with Mann, as well as the whole roster next year. We know we’re going to have a great team again next season, but if we can fill in all the potential we have, we may mess around and win a championship.
