No. 2 reason the Clippers will be in the NBA Finals next year: Elite coaching

LA Clippers Head Coach Ty Lue doesn’t need to prove anything to anybody anymore.

Again, he took a team who dealt with a ridiculous amount of injuries all season to the Western Conference Finals. No team was damaged by injuries more than the Clippers, and not one excuse was uttered out of Lue’s mouth.

Lue has gone from one of the most disrespected coaches in the NBA to one of the best very fast. They literally said that LeBron James won Lue’s championship and that it was he, not Lue, who was the true head coach of the team.

Then, went he went down 0-2 (both games being at home) of the first round, and expressed that he wasn’t all too worried about his chances in the series, everybody crushed Lue.

Remember when Doc Rivers said “It ain’t going to be much different” under our new head coach?

Yeah, what an absolutely horrible take. Lue got us to where Rivers, a former Coach of the Year Award winner who was a well-respected coach around the league, could never get us.
