The LA Clippers had the best duo of the 2020-2021 NBA season.

It was proven by the Clippers being the only team to have multiple All-NBA selections on their roster.

Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George made All-NBA rosters on Tuesday.

Kawhi Leonard made the first team (his fifth All-NBA selection), and Paul George made the third team (his sixth All-NBA selection) for the LA Clippers.

Both players had dream years.

Leonard almost hit the 50/40/90 mark as a shooter. Even approaching that line is insane. He hit 51.2% of his field goals, 39.8% of his threes, and 88.5% of his shots from the line.

Don’t let that distract you from the facts that he averaged 24.8 points per contest, 6.5 rebounds per game, and 5.2 assists per game (a career-high). Defensively, the two-time Defensive Player of the Year stole the ball 1.6 times per game. He should’ve been First-Team All-Defense, but at least he was named to the second team.

Keep in mind that he put up these ridiculous stats in a year where he had to battle through injuries. There’s no doubt that he deserves this honor.

As for PG, he did no other than accomplish something that only two other NBA players did this year. Only George, Nikola Vucevic, and Julius Randle averaged at least 23 points per contest, six boards per contest, and shot 40% from beyond the arc.

This season, George put up 23.3 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game, and 5.2 assists per game. He’s such a well-rounded player. When it came to shooting the basketball, he shot 46.7% this year, nailing 41.1% of his threes and 86.8% from the line.

Those are career-highs in assists, field goal percentage, and three-point percentage. He’s also still an elite defensive player, and was absolutely snubbed from an All-Defensive team.

Next. The Clippers refuse to make excuses. dark

There are plenty of great duos in this league, but the Leonard/George 1-2 punch proved to be the best this year, at least in the regular season.
