The LA Clippers‘ Twitter account released some unreal numbers regarding Paul George and Kawhi Leonard this year, proving that they’ve once again separated themselves as one of the very best of the best superstar duos in the game.

Paul George is in a league of his own, and Kawhi Leonard came close to entering one of the most prestigious clubs in basketball this year.

As for Paul George, he’s doing something only two other NBA players have managed this season.

Only Nikola Vucevic and Julius Randle have also accomplished this feat in 2021.

This is the first time George has done it, and to do it in a year where he’s had to deal with injuries is surely impressive. He’s the only one in the Western Conference to have done it, and one of only two players participating in the NBA Playoffs who have done it (Julius Randle).

As for Kawhi Leonard, he almost joined the 50/40/90 club this year. There was only one player this year to do it, Nets guard Kyrie Irving, and Leonard was about as close as it gets to joining him.

Kawhi has never been in the 50/40/90 club before, falling short in the 2015-16 season by just 2.6% on the free throw line. Getting this close again is a testament to how well-rounded of a shooter he is.

His three-point stroke and mid-range game is deadly. Having a player like Kawhi who is as elite as it gets in his offensive attack and can lock down his man the way Leonard can on defense will work wonders in the postseason.

Next. 3 players who can't disappear vs Mavericks. dark

I wouldn’t count Kawhi out on hitting that 50/40/90 in the playoffs. He’s going to have a huge run.
