LA Clippers’ Paul George partners with Alienware for gaming
LA Clippers’ Paul George has partnered with Alienware for his gaming needs.
We all know how good Paul George has been on the court this season for the LA Clippers. What doesn’t get talked about as much though, is just how good he is on the sticks.
PG has been known to be a gamer. When the league suspended play due to COVID, George took his talents to Twitch as he streamed himself playing Call of Duty: Warzone.
George, being the gamer that he is, was one of the first to receive the new PlayStation 5 when it dropped in 2020.
While I’m sure he will still use the PS5, George’s new partnership has him moving away from consoles and to PC.
On January 9, George announced via Twitter that he will be moving over to a brand new Alienware battle station on January 14.
George says he has been called many things from a son to an All-Star to an Olympian. If anyone wants that smoke from him in Warzone though, they can call him YG_Trece (his Twitter handle).
It’ll be fun to see if George fully embraces the PC life, switching over from controller to keyboard and mouse or if he will continue to play with a PlayStation controller. It will also be intriguing to find out if he will continue to stream with his new PC all set up.
Alienware is no stranger to the NBA, having partnered with their 2K Leauge back in 2018. The league was part of the NBA’s expansion into Esports. Warzone is now part of that landscape, so perhaps we see George also make some deals in that arena.
