The LA Clippers head to Phoenix to face the Suns. Here are three things to watch for.

The LA Clippers travel to Phoenix tonight to face the Western Conference-leading Suns. While just one loss separates the two, it’s worth noting that the Suns look, really, really good this season.

The addition of Chris Paul has brought a new life to this young team and Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and the rest of the team are benefiting.

For the Clips, they are looking to bounce back after falling to the Utah Jazz. While they got down big early, they fought back and almost completed the comeback. They will have to play a complete game tonight, however. Here are three things to watch for.

1. What to watch for from the LA Clippers: Can they play a complete game?

As mentioned, the LA Clippers will need to play a complete game against Phoenix. The Suns are mainly young but Chris Paul’s leadership (as Clipper Nation is familiar with) will have them focused.

Phoenix has a very balanced attack with Devin Booker being the main threat. The Clippers realized that last season in the bubble where Booker hit a game-winner over Paul George. Those bubble Suns were surprising but raw. This year, though, they are legitimately good.

The Clippers have shown in both of their losses that they still possess the ability to come out flat. In both cases, their opponents went up big and the Clips were faced with a hole to climb out of. Versus the Jazz, they nearly pulled that off but, as Ivica Zubac said after the game, it’s hard to come back when you get down early.

Phoenix boasts a good defense (more on that shortly) so the Clippers will have to be especially careful.
